The Finnish Society for Client and PatientSafety (abbreviation SPTY) was founded in 2010. The purpose of the society is to promote client and patient safety and  client and patient and safety research. To fulfill its purpose, the society organizes seminars, training and congresses, engages in publishing and information activities and cooperates with other organizations in the field in Finland and abroad. To support its operations the society can organize educational sessions and accept donations.
